Days after the internet was baffled by a pair of $170 "extreme cut out" jeans, people are confused by yet another unique take on denim.
On Sunday, Fashion Nova posted a photo of its "Wild Thang Lace-Up Pant" on Instagram. The high-waisted jeans feature a strip of stretch denim that covers the front part of your lower torso and upper thighs. The back of the pants look like regular light blue wash jeans and are connected to the strip of fabric with white strings that crisscross down the front and side of your legs.

The lace-up jeans retail for a relatively low $49.99, like many of the items on Fashion Nova's site.

But, judging by the comments on Instagram, people aren't so sure these pants are worth the price. Some have compared the lace-up jeans to a pair of underwear. Others believe the pants would be tricky to put on and take off, especially if you're rushing to get ready in the morning. Many have also joked about the unique tan lines the pants' crisscross design would likely leave on your skin.

"Who would wear these?" one Instagram user asked. "How would you get your foot through the right hole without struggling?"
"How do you put this on without breaking one of the string thingies?" another person wondered.
But if you're looking to stand out from the crowd, these jeans will definitely do the trick.
"Lol all these comments smh," one Instagram user wrote. "I bought them. Can't wait to wear them. I like something different and unique."
